Using our own concept, Ioan Nemtoi, the internationally renowned Romanian glass artist and Austrian photographer, Curt Themessl both contributed to the design and furnishings of our design hotel.

Ioan Nemtoi uses our hotel as his exhibition space in Vienna – this means that you can purchase his glass sculptures and vases here in the hotel. We are happy to guide you through the “exhibition” and can offer you the opportunity of acquiring one of these artworks.

Curt Themessl has created an exhibition of black & white pictures of selected State Opera and Volksoper dancers throughout the hotel. You can admire these photos on our historic stairway, in corridors and in all the rooms, and they may be purchased – from 125.- euros.

Ioan Nemtoi

Born 14th January, 1964 in Trusesti, Botosani, Romania.
In 1991, Nemtoi graduated from the Bucharest Academy of Fine & Applied Arts with a B.A. in ceramics, glass and metal.
